Justin Timberlake's 'Hallelujah' hot on iTunes

Matt Morris, who sang Hallelujah with Justin Timberlake on the Hope for Haiti telethon (the song now holds the No. 2 spot on the iTunes single chart ), tells MTV that he and JT go way back.

At age 11, Morris won a spot on the Disney Channel’s Mickey Mouse Club , alongside Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell and other famous teens, including Timberlake.

"Justin and I have been friends for a long time, and we have this unspoken musical connection," Morris tells MTV. "He’s got his finger on the pulse. … And I don’t think it’s an intentional thing. I think it’s just part of who he is. He just gets it. "

Now, Timberlake is Morris’ boss. Morris’ first studio album, When Everything Breaks Open , is out now on Timberlake’s Tennman Records.
