Kate Gosselin 'doing what provides for my family'

“It’s not about an obsession with fame,” Kate Gosselin tells People regarding her decision to join Dancing With The Stars. “It’s about doing what provides for my family. Period.” She adds, “If I was financially able to provide for eight kids (twins Cara and Mady, 9, and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah, 5) on my former salary as a nurse, I would do it…but that’s not possible…I cannot rely on the fact that Jon will be there to help support the kids, so I approach it as if I am the sole provider.” Meanwhile, Kate’s already got a new short haircut. – Ann Oldenburg

Bull s— to your statement Katie, You probably would still have you husband if you hadn”t been so hateful to him. I would have cheated too. and I”m not so sure you didn”t do the same. You have money from your tv show unless you have gone thru it, who do you think you’re kidding. You need to stay home with your children instead of running all over the country. Whos paying the nannys. huh? you just like the limelight. You are something else, and its not good.

Bull —- to you Kate. If you hadn’t been so bossy and hateful to Jon, maybe you would still have him. You want nothing but to be in the limelight. You made a bunch of money for your tv show nd books (which I’d never buy) you should stay home with your children instead of parading all over the country.

Who are you trying to kid. It seems like you are only kidding yourself. There are a lot of other women out there (and families) who get by on nurses salaries and less. Like the previous writer said, you may have to scale down to a smaller house and not build a dance studio in your basement just to be on Dancing with the Stars, but it can be done. I love my children also, but don’t feel the need to be in the limelight to support them. I do not admire what you are doing and feel that you are not a good role model. Where would you be if you hadn’t gotten the tummy-tuck (free) and had all the support from your neighbors and friends. Think about it. Your life in the limelight is not real-life.

Kate – You could live on a nurses salary if you had to. You would scale things down, like the home you live in. I know you love your kids but there are other things you could do and still survive. Don’t use the showbiz stuff as an excuse that it is the only thing you can do to survive. I don’t believe that
