Precious director Lee Daniels has found his Martin Luther King. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Daniels has cast British actor David Oyelowo in the role of the civil rights leader in Selma. Oyelowo, who’ll next be seen in George Lucas‘ Red Tails and who has had roles in The Last King of Scotland and The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency, will star opposite Hugh Jackman, who is signed to play the racist sheriff who tries to stop the marches. The part of Alabama Gov. George Wallace is still open. – Ann Oldenburg
