Without FNL, we probably would have never seen the dynamic duo of Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton, as Coach Eric and Tami Taylor. (Seriously, I wanted to go strap on some pads and a helmet after hearing one of coach’s earnest and no-nonsense pregame pep talks.) Pop culture would have missed out on bad-boy fullback Tim Riggins (played by Taylor Kitsch). And what better way to connect men and women than to combine drama and football? It’s genius, I tell you.
