You’re probably thinking of To Appomattox, the miniseries slated to air in 2013 that follows the military men of the Civil War from their days at West Point. Actors Paul Giamatti, Michael C. Hall and William Petersen are attached to the project, but not Spielberg. However, the legendary filmmaker is tackling the period with his upcoming movie Lincoln, which he’s working on this fall with Daniel Day-Lewis starring as the 16th president.
