Q: Could you tell me about Lauren German from Hawaii Five-0? She looks familiar but I can’t place her.

You’ve probably seen German, who joined CBS’ island-set cop series this season as Officer Lori Weston, in any number of different projects on TV and in movies over the years. The Huntington Beach, Calif., native, 33, made her Hollywood debut in Down to You in 2000 and starred in the 2003 remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the horror flick Hostel II and the short-lived television series Happy Town.
