Barrowman as Torchwood’s Capt. Harkness

You’re not the only one who’s wondering about the spinoff of the globally popular sci-fi series Doctor Who, although it looks as if the future of Torchwood — which aired its first three seasons on BBC America — is in limbo for now. Torchwood star John Barrowman, who plays the charismatic hero Captain Jack Harkness, says that current Doctor Who showrunner Stephen Moffat is interested in having Barrowman share screen time with the current Doctor, Matt Smith. “I would love to cross paths with the new Doctor,” Barrowman says. “I’d be totally up for it.”
