Graham is used to gritty TV/film roles.
Harry Hutton, Estero, Fla.
That would be British actor Stephen Graham playing the young Chicago gangster in HBO’s acclaimed Prohibition-era drama. Gritty roles like Capone are nothing new for Graham, 38. He starred as an aging skinhead in the film This Is England and as Babyface Nelson in Public Enemies. Boardwalk Empire just completed its second season — and has been renewed for a third — but if you want to start catching up, the DVD of the first season arrives in stores Jan. 10. And if you want to check out other Capone performances over the holidays, there’s always Robert DeNiro playing the infamous crime lord in The Untouchables or Jason Robards in the classic The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.
