Like many other shows, Prime Suspect was canned, and pretty early on, too. Production on the NBC cop series, based on the British drama with Helen Mirren, was halted back in November. But Bello has moved on nicely. She has signed up for a multi-episode arc on Touch, starring Kiefer Sutherland. Bello plays a mother whose daughter — like Sutherland’s son on the Fox series — can predict the future.

I can’t believe Prime Suspect was cancelled. It was by far the best show on TV. It had the best secondary characters, great star, and wonderful storylines. So sorry it is not coming back.
