Broadway Chats: Judith Light

It has been a bittersweet spring for Light. The sweet: Light, 63, earned her second Tony nomination in two years, this year for best performance by an actress in a featured role in a play for Other Desert Cities. The bitter: Her father died this year at age 98. She says he used to drive her to rehearsals when she was little. “He would sleep in the car and wait for me.”
