It’s been a couple of years. The three-time Oscar winner, a Hollywood fixture since the late 1950s, last starred with Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd in the 2010 romantic comedy How Do You Know. Off-screen, the leading man of Chinatown, The Shining and The Departed can often be found courtside at L.A. Lakers games. His next role could be a cameo: Warner Bros. aims to remake Little Shop of Horrors and a Nicholson appearance would be apropos since the 1960 original was one of his first roles.
