HENDERSON

Josh Henderson has played bad boys before, but never like John Ross, the conniving son of oil tycoon J.R. Ewing on TNT’s new Dallas. He even grew a mustache to appear more devious. “The producers worried I looked too young, so that was my weak attempt to age myself up,” says Henderson, 30. “A bad guy doesn’t bring boredom.” Is that what he is like? “I’m pretty darn caring and nice.”

Falling Skies’ Wyle is feeling a little alienated.

“I could light a fire with a flint,” Noah Wyle says, explaining how capable he would be if aliens attacked the world. That’s the scenario in Falling Skies, which returns for a second season Sunday on TNT. Wyle, 41, plays a “warrior/statesman,” but at home with his two children — Owen, 9, and Auden, 6 — Wyle is not the hero. “When my son chases me,” he reveals, “I have to be the alien.”
