It’s actually executive producer Lee Aronsohn who has the Cornhusker connection — and a connection to the nerdy pursuits of Sheldon and Leonard. He grew up in New York City but lived in Lincoln, Neb., for two years in the mid-1970s and opened Trade A Tape Comic Center, which is still in business. Another piece of trivia: Aronsohn is a co-creator and executive producer on Two and a Half Men, and he co-wrote the sitcom’s catchy theme song.
