That is definitely true. Frank Perry, who directed the classic Mommie Dearest and died in 1995 at age 65, was the uncle of Katy Perry’s mother, Mary Hudson. The 27-year-old singer is beginning to make her mark on the movies, too: She voiced Smurfette in the 2011 film The Smurfs, and her 3-D biopic/concert film, Katy Perry: Part of Me, was released in theaters two weeks ago. No word yet on whether wire hangers were banned outlawed on her film set.
