Q: Who is the redhead secretary on ‘Suits’?

Bill Schepp, Phillips, Wis.

Sarah Rafferty

Correction: Sarah Rafferty (shown here) plays the part of Donna Paulsen, Harvey’s revered (and feared) executive assistant, on Suits. Rafferty grew up as the youngest of four daughters in Connecticut, before going on to receive her MFA from The Yale School of Drama. She’s made many guest appearances on other TV series including Bones, Charmed and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and appeared in the 2011 feature film Small, Beautifully Moving Parts. She lives on both east and west coasts with her husband and two daughters, but commutes to Toronto to film Suits.

Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle, 31, plays brainy paralegal Rachel Zane, a love interest for Patrick J. Adams’ Mike Ross. The L.A. native got her start in General  Hospital and appeared on FringeCastle and The League before finding a home on USA Network’s Suits. She was also a model: You might recognize her as the woman holding case No. 24 on the NBC game show Deal or No Deal.

I tried nearly a dozen times to send an email to inform the staff of the error. However, the mailbox is full and my email kept getting returned. I guess the same person that made the error is also the one that doesn’t read their email. I can’t believe that proofreading is a dead art, as Meghan’s hair is definitely not red. A correction with a spread about Sarah would be nice.

I was mortified when I saw this completely erroneous answer in the PRINTED VERSION of this Weekender that I am sure goes ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY. To make matters worse, I cover this show for TVFanatic.com and could not have been more righteously outraged at the lack of attention to detail. Does ANYONE at USA Today edit their content for correctness?

  6. Carol says:

Glad to see I am not only one who was taking the time to correct this mixup “Redhair”, “Paralegal” mos to us know the difference.

    Sarah Rafferty

  8. Bruce and Yolie Morgan says:

You definitely do not watch this show. The dark brown haired woman that you mention, in not even in the same league as this beautiful redhead, played by Sarah Rafferty.

  9. Bob says:

Oops! We will look forward to your correction in next week’s Who’sNews section. And while you’re at it, watch an episode of “Suits.” It’s really good! BTW, thanks for the info about Meghan. She is awesome, too.

  10. Scott says:

Glad to see the correction is on the website. Fairly clear, you’ve never even watched the show or attempted to watch the show to make an error like that. Imdb.com is your friend.

  11. Kathy says:

Thanks for correcting, at least online. Couldn’t figure out how you confused a dark haired paralegal with a redheaded secretary.

  12. Maggiemom says:

Thanks for the correction re: Donna vs. Rachel. We enjoy the show very much – and certainly can tell the difference between the actresses.

  13. cheleynne says:

Thank you, Robbie. I was going to make that same comment. It’s simple ignorance to label a “paralegal” as a “secretary.” And Donna is definitely the REDHEAD SECRETARY. Maybe someone will answer the actual question and tell us about the actress who plays Donna.

  14. Fantastic web site. Lots of useful info here. I am sending it to a few friends ans also sharing in delicious. And naturally, thank you for your sweat!

  15. Robbie says:

The redhead secretary on Suits is Donna (Sarah Rafferty) Meghan Markle is not a redhead and is not a secretary. Do you read these questions?
