Castroneves returns to the dance floor.
Having the opportunity to show 2½-year-old daughter Mikaella another side of his athletic prowess prompted Helio Castroneves, 37, to return to the ballroom for the Dancing With the Stars all-stars season, premiering Monday on ABC. “I prefer she would be a dancer rather than a race-car driver,” the three-time Indy 500 champion says. Perhaps the ballroom will inspire not just Mikaella but his “future wife,” Adriana Henao, as well. “I’ve already asked her many times to marry me, but she says no. She says I need to be more romantic,” says the DWTS Season 5 winner. But no matter what happens on or off the dance floor, Castroneves already knows the reward: “It takes my mind a little bit away from racing, which for me is always good, so that I can come back in the following season pretty strong.”
