The star of USA Network drama White Collar publicly confirmed in February that he is gay. When accepting a humanitarian award for his efforts in the fight against AIDS and HIV, Bomer, 35, thanked his partner, publicist Simon Halls, and their three children, Henry, Walker and Kit. Bomer, who appeared in the movie Magic Mike this past summer, returns to TV with new episodes of White Collar this January, though he may be in a film again if the rumor mill is true: He is one of the names being talked about as a potential lead in a film adaptation of E.L. James’ wildly popular book 50 Shades of Grey.

Who the hell cares if he is gay? Really, people need to stop this, Matt is a damn good actor and could totally pull this off. He is so sexy, those eyes, his mouth, omg. No one else comes close in my mind. He could easily play this dark,troubled,controlling character. Its about time Matt had a lead role instead of these itty bitty parts in movies that he keeps getting. Its his time to shine.
Why all of a sudden are they looking at an actors personal life.Everyone has a personal life. Nobody ever says someone can’t play a vampire because they aren’t a vampire or can’t play a married man because they aren’t married or can’t play a killer be ause they don’t know what it is like to kill. That is why you go to action g school to play people that you aren’t. Matt is a great actor & best fit for the
role. Just look at him.
