Q: Is that Tim Allen we hear doing the Chevrolet and Campbell’s Soup commercials?

Irene Wyman, Mountlake Terrace, Wash.

It sure is! The Midwest native has been the voice of Chevy since 2010, when he also started as a pitchman for Campbell’s, and you may also recognize him as the voice of the popular Toy Story hero Buzz Lightyear. Allen, 59, also lends his talents to commercials for the “Pure Michigan” travel and tourism campaign — he spent a good deal of his childhood growing up in the suburbs of Detroit. The former Home Improvement star is back for a second season of his latest sitcom, Last Man Standing, beginning Friday on ABC.
