Playing the Evil Queen on ABC’s Once Upon a Time is a stretch for Lana Parrilla, 35, who says she’s a romantic who believes in happy endings. She also was never, ever a mean girl. “I’ve always gotten along with women. I was never part of a clique.” On the other hand, she knows how to get into the spirit of villainy. “I’m laughing while ripping people’s hearts out and when children get caught in the witch’s house,” she says. “Villains are so much fun to play.”
