Jessica Biel: From small screen to big screen
Judy Hankins, Cincinnati
The 1996-2007 series followed the large Camden clan’s assorted dramas and was a springboard for many of the actors. Jessica Biel, 30, is the most famous alumnus — after playing rebellious daughter Mary Camden, she went on to make movies and marry Justin Timberlake last month. (She appears in Hitchcock later this month and Playing for Keeps in December.) About other notables: Dad Stephen Collins starred on the short-lived No Ordinary Family, mom Catherine Hicks is in the upcoming ION holiday film A Christmas Wedding, and sisters Beverley Mitchell and Mackenzie Rosman guest-starred on The Secret Life of an American Teenager.
