First off, that gruff American accent he uses to play the young and conflicted president of the SAMCRO gang? It isn’t his own. Hunnam, 32, was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and started his career as a child actor in Britain. He has become well known for his not-so-nice guys — in addition to his Anarchy biker Jax Teller, he played a psychopath in Cold Mountain and a violent soccer fan in Green Street Hooligans. Next up for Hunnam is a pair of movies: the crime drama Deadfall (it arrives in theaters this weekend) and the monster flick Pacific Rim, out in July.
