Atwell outgrew her tomboy days.
“Every single guy wishes he could play music, have fun and be in the moment,” Harold Perrineau, 49, says. The former Lost star, who is expecting his third child, a son, with wife Brittany next year, stars in the new TBS comedy Wedding Band. It’s a polar opposite from his other small-screen roles. “I thought, ‘This could be a hit, and I could forever be just on a show where we laugh and play music, and I never have to be in prison or lost on an island, and I don’t have to shoot, stab, yell or curse at anybody ever again.’ ”
Hayley Atwell, 30, would be a great spy except for one thing: “I can’t hold in a secret.” Atwell plays a Russian-born spy working for the British Secret Service in the miniseries Restless, which concludes Friday on Sundance Channel. Atwell says she was a tomboy when she was growing up. “I wanted to get out there and climb trees and fight with boys,” she says. “It took me a long time for me to actually notice just how womanly I was. I looked down one day and said, ‘Wow!’ ”
