Much like Nashville stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, Green doesn’t have a stunt voice — that’s actually him crooning as the lead singer of Mother of the Bride, the musical group at the heart of TBS’ comedy Wedding Band, which has its season finale Jan. 19 and also stars Harold Perrineau, Peter Cambor and Derek Miller as band members. His father, George, is a country musician, and Green, who played DJ and hip-hop aficionado David Silver on the original Beverly Hills, 90210, shared his character’s interests: The actor released a solo rap album, One Stop Carnival, in 1996.
