The J.J. Abrams-helmed procedural about inmates from the infamous prison showing up in modern day found itself on death row all too quickly: Alcatraz was canceled after its first season of 13 episodes. All of the show’s stars, however, seem to be moving on nicely. Jorge Garcia, the ex-star of Lost who played an Alcatraz expert, guest-starred this season on Once Upon a Time, and Sarah Jones, whose detective was the focal point of Alcatraz, has moved on to be a series regular on the new CBS series Vegas opposite Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis. Sam Neill, on the other hand, has gone back to jail: He’s a prison doctor opposite Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Tomb, an action movie out this fall.
