Marin Hinkle, 46, plays Judith, the former flame of Alan Harper (Jon Cryer), mother of Jake (Angus T. Jones) and current wife of pediatrician Herb Melnick (Ryan Stiles) in the CBS sitcom. Born in Tanzania to Peace Corps parents and raised in Boston, Hinkle last appeared on Two and a Half Men in May. The actress, who was a regular on the short-lived Once and Again, now has a role on NBC’s new mystery drama Deception.
