This Kiwi stars in ‘Banshee.’
Antony Starr, 37, who happens to be New Zealand’s Sexiest Man Alive, plays the ex-con sheriff of a Pennsylvania town on Cinemax’s Banshee. It’s the newcomer’s first action role. “I do most of my stunts, whether I want to or not,” says Starr, who studied martial arts from age 10 to 18. “I’ve been working through and around little injuries. I cut my lip on the first day of shooting and needed six stitches. I also pulled a hamstring.”

Seth Gabel, 31, stars in the military drama Allegiance and stops by CW’s Arrow this Wednesday as villainous street thug The Count. But most of his focus is on his wife, actress Bryce Dallas Howard (daughter of Ron Howard), and two kids. The couple have found a foolproof way to keep son Theo, 5, quiet on set. “When they call ‘Action!’ we give him a lollipop, and he doesn’t talk,” Gabel says. “We haven’t told the dentist.”
