Good eye! Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David is Jewish on the popular CBS drama. A former liaison officer with the Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency, Ziva now works as a special agent with Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the rest of the investigative crew. The actress who plays her, however, isn’t Jewish. Though de Pablo, 33, has used a Hebrew teacher during her tenure on the long-running NCIS, she was actually raised in a Catholic family in Chile’s capital city of Santiago. She also showed her multiculturalism by singing verses of Tom Waits’ Temptation in French for an NCIS soundtrack.
