Q: Whatever happened to The Jeff Probst Show?

Jeff ProbstSharon Sathern, Grayslake, Ill.

His show is still airing in syndication, although that’s just one project on his busy schedule. Probst, 51, who is in his 26th season hosting the CBS reality show Survivor, added author to his résumé with his recent kids’ adventure book, Stranded. It’s “an updated Robinson Crusoe without the parents,” says Probst, who already is working on the second book. After so many years of traveling the world — and watching other people eat bugs — for Survivor, he’s not ready to quit yet. “I think it’s the perfect storm for me. I love human nature. I like people, and I love watching what conflict does to us and how we justify our behavior.”

Sorry I meant let Jeff know not Peter.

Let Peter know there are NO parents in the book Robinson Crusoe written by Daniel Defoe. He is alone for years until he meets a native “Friday”.
Perhaps Peter was referring to Swiss Family Robinson by Robert Louis Stevenson. Both great novels but unrelated to each other.
