The 31-year-old Los Angeles native is enjoying a stint as a TV sleuth on the new NBC drama Deception, which stars Good as a detective fleshing out the mystery of her best friend’s death — and what her enigmatic family might have to do with it. The actress,who married Columbia Pictures executive DeVon Franklin in June, started out when she was a young girl as an extra on TV shows until her big break in the comedy Friday when she was 13. Good starred in the late-1990s Nickelodeon sitcom Cousin Skeeter and has had major roles in movies such as Stomp the Yard and last year’s Think Like a Man.
